The serrated giant thresher has been named

This was apparently published in September 2018, but it slipped past me and I’m posting it here in case it slipped past my fellow thresher lovers. The allusive serrated giant thresher has been named Alopias palatasi. Of course if you like Trigonotodus better, it is Trigonotodus palatasi. 

 

Now when I add one to my collection in the far far future, I can finally put a good label to it!
