Kane Posted February 4, 2019 Share Posted February 4, 2019 It looks like a modern bone to me, but to be sure you could always apply the "burn test": apply a small flame to one of the ends and if it gives off an unpleasant smell like burnt hair, it would likely be a modern bone. It would be very odd if someone was throwing away fossil bones in a recycling bin...
