JamieLynn
Found on the Trinity River near Trinity TX. Very large, odd conglomerate. Looks like Exogyria Ponderosa, but then has this odd side growth? Any help would be appreciated! (that's a quarter next to it for scale) 1 www.fossil-quest.com
abyssunder
I think, there are two oysters attached to each other. 4 " We are not separate and independent entities, but like links in a chain, and we could not by any means be what we are without those who went before us and showed us the way. Al Dente
It looks like the hinge areas of two large oysters.
erose
Not Exogyra. Hinge scars are wrong. Looks like one larger "Ostreas".
abyssunder
They look close to Crassostrea, maybe something like Crassostrea virginica, but the geological age and the location might be not proper for that. 2 " We are not separate and independent entities, but like links in a chain, and we could not by any means be what we are without those who went before us and showed us the way.
