Those things must be as brittle as egg shells--very difficult to get anything close to a complete tooth if it has come out of the formation and rolled around in the water for any distance. Cheers. -Ken You should look at @Foshunter‘s gallery. He has a large mastodon jaw section with teeth in it from the NSR. We aren’t finding anything like that now days in the NSR.
