Tucson 2019 Pictures

Recommended Posts

So I got back from Tucson a few days ago and thought I'd post some pictures for all to see!  Pictures got downloaded out of order when I had to shrink the size to make them compatible for the forum.  Sorry I can't ID everything for you guys like @Troodon did last year.  Enjoy!

Let's start with my favorite topic... eggs!

French Eggs:

Thanks that was a treat to see those wonderful pieces. I especially liked the Hadrosaur/skin impression display.

Edit: But wait! There's more! More great images added after I posted.

Talk about drool worthy! So many totally awesome specimens. Those opalized belemnites were very appealing but so isn't everything else!

Thanks for sharing! The baby rex tooth is my favourite and I bet that wasn’t cheap!

Only one I have ever seen for sale... they were asking $2500 but went down to $2000.  It was still available when I left the show on Monday.

Wow! Looks like several great museums put together.

I see some with interesting stories. The first looks like it died while giving birth to three babies. I guess that one is coming out in the right spot for a birth canal; it seems a little to far forward. Possibly the creature just burst open randomly?

Has anyone seen a fossil for sale before now with the restriction that it is only sold to an institution?

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.
