Masp
@ziggycardon has seen already, but for those who haven’t seen yet, here is my favorite replica, Dryptosaurus claw. ziggycardon
Got a nice new replica today! A Tyrannosaurus rex manus claw on a display stand! I got it as a gift for being a good costumer from the paleoartist where I buy most of my replica's 21 hours ago, Joeri_R said: wow! It looks like I also have the same cast as @Bobby Rico of an adult Psittacosaurus. I've had it for a while but I haven't gotten around to painting and mounting it. Though I have separated a bunch of the vertebrae so that I can put it in a different more dynamic pose. Where did you two get that Psittacosaurus skeleton cast? Looks like an awesome project! jdiaz55
Here's my full scale Velociraptor skull Here's a cast of an Allosaurus claw, with the original residing in the Natural History Museum of Utah. The original suffered a break at the tip, so the cast is split in the same location to reflect the actual specimen!

olorotitan
Here is my replica of a Deinonychus second toe claw. I bought this from the LA natural history museum shortly after watching Jurassic Park in theaters and I thought for the longest time it was the claw of a Velociraptor. Now that google has made leaps and bounds in image search, I realize this is now a Deinonychus claw. Really cool piece. I wonder if anyone here knows which side is medial and which is lateral? It would be nice to know which foot this came from.

When I compare mine with photos of Velociraptor feet it looks like I have the toe of the right foot. Yours seems to be the mirror image, so it would be the left one. I agree- mine looks like the mirror image hence the left. Your 3D image is very helpful. Thanks for your help! Peat Burns
Here's a little cast I finished today of a Hyracodon (Oligocene, White River Formation) jaw fragment that someone brought in the other day for ID. I made a mold of silicone rubber, cast with 2-part epoxy, and painted with Walmart acrylics. Not perfect, but I'm happy with it. Bobby Rico
I do really like this thread. It does really give respect to some really nice replicas that are affordable to the collector who lives out of geological and financial range of the actual specimen that are portrayed . Enjoyable indeed

I love the Griswold's. I'll let you know when I hear from Sister. Tracking says it has been delivered, but I'll probably have to wait on snail mail for reply. I don't think she uses email. Enjoyable indeed Yes, very cool to see all the replicas.. most are quite realistic looking. The only way I'll ever afford a dinosaur skull is the plastic version, which isn't a bad thing. Scientists would probably make better use of it than me. @LordTrilobite When are you going to mount your adult Psittacosaurus? The price ain't too bad for them and I'm sort of interested in taking a stab at it myself.

The price ain't too bad for them and I'm sort of interested in taking a stab at it myself. That might still be a while. I haven't gotten around to it yet. I did a lot of work on the skull, drilling through some of the filled in areas to expose the skull arches nicely. I've also separated many of the vertebrae so that I can bend the spine. And the feet were missing a few phalanges that I had to sculpt. I still need to paint the skeleton too before I mount it. ziggycardon
Here is my newest replica of my collection. A juvenile Ichthyosaurus communis skeleton of which the original was found in Somerset in the UK (around 200 million years old). I am a bit surprised by the details on the specimen, they really nailed to give it a realistic look! 2 Interested in all things paleontology, geology, zoology, evolution, natural history and science!
