ziggycardon
My long awaited newest replica's for the collection! Bambiraptor feinbergi skull Upper Two Medicine Formation, Montana, USA (Cretaceous, 72 mya) The skull is very small, only 13 cm long, a tiny raptor indeed although many scientists believe that Bambiraptor could be a juvenile Saurornitholestes. A mounted Psittacosaurus skeleton The original is from the Jiufotang Formation, Liaoning Province, China (Cretaceous, 120 mya) A Deinonychus antirrhopus killing claw Cloverly Formation, Colorado, USA (Cretaceous, 110 mya) I am kinda amazed with the details on this one, really love it! 3 Interested in all things paleontology, geology, zoology, evolution, natural history and science! ParkerPaleo
I could post pages of casts as we produce a wide variety of them but this is one of my favorites due to the personal attachment I have with the specimen. It is Silvisaurus condrayi, a nodosaur from the Dakota sandstone in Kansas. It's one of the first large/complex geometry items I ever did. No paint as it is a backup master in case something tragic happens.

Yoda
I am still in two minds re replicas. On one hand, one has the opportunity to get a representative example of a fossil where one could ever get an original. On the other, well, it’s not a real fossil. I think that if I was on an unlimited budget, it would not be such an issue for me. But since I am, I am restricting my purchases to actual fossils.
