Auspex Posted February 13, 2019 Share Posted February 13, 2019 Yes, it is a Megalodon tooth. I had to enlarge the image to be sure it was not cusped (suggesting Chubutensis), but it was a shadow. Colored-up like some Calvert Fm. teeth are. Not like any west coast teeth I've seen. The wrinkle-like texture in the area everyone else is focusing on does still appear to show a vestigial cusplet to me.
