What is it?

What is it? Is it just a rock or something fossilized like a bone? Found in the country in cuenca Ecuador today.  Need to know

Welcome to TFF!

This piece looks more like calcite (cave flowstone), a calcium carbonate.

See if You can scratch it with a knife. If it scratches it is calcite if not then it is agate.

If you have a rock saw with a diamond blade you could cut it. But unless you planned on polishing slabs, there would be no point in it. That is, unless there are crystals in that vug.

You can cut it, may reveal some interesting patterns or make some nice cabochons.

As mentioned, You will need a rock saw to cut it. 

Being such a large piece it will take a big saw to do any cutting.
