I bought this claw a little while ago, for close to nothing. Still waiting for the item to arrive. Not sure what it is from though. It was dug up in Hell Creek.

The claw and bone measure about an inch in length in total.

Anyone who would have a qualified guess?

Didn’t the seller list it as Mammalian or possible mammalian. I agree doesn’t look dinosaurian.

Life started in the ocean. And so did my interest in fossils;).

Claw is not dinosaurian about all I know would lean reptlian.  Is the bone hollow?

@indominus rex It was listed an unidentified claw.

@Troodon From the pictures of the listing, none of them really gave insight on whether it was hollow bone.

Gonna have to check if the end is hollow when it arrives.

Yeah I saw that listing. Looks very similar to other mammal claws that can be found online. Here's a picture that looks very similar to yours, these were also found in the Hell Creek Formation. Regardless of what it is, it's still a cool piece of history :)

I am seeing turtle in that claw.  Not sure about the other bone.

For what it's worth, I thought turtle claw as well...but don't believe the two (bone and claw) belong together.

@Sauroniops, I sent your pictures to Asher Lichtig and he agreed, turtle claw with an unassociated bone.
