cavemanfl
I'm currently in Colombia but back in the city after a caving expedition. But of course I'm always looking for fossils too. He is a little teaser from the trip. More pics to come later.
jcbshark
Nice, is that a sloth claw? Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!

cavemanfl
Pottery found. When my friend sends me some of the photos taken I can show more fossils and human remains found in caves.

5 Humper
Congratulations, that's a wonderful sloth claw core. Were you able to recover it out of the wall? Are you certain that it belongs to genus Megatherium? I can't quite tell species from pic, although I'm not too well versed in S. American giant ground sloth species. But I know there are a plethora there...S. America is the cradle of Xenarthran evolution.
