Does anyone know a good website or auction site where I can get a nice rare therapod claw? Also, how does this albertonykus borealis claw look? I heard the alvelarazsaurids are very rare. It is described as this63B27DCD-4704-4720-8E24-3B671B620652.jpeg.b9a2276da9d2e2c7fef03772f00bd14d.jpeg

There are no Alvarezsaurids described from the Hell Creek formation. Albertonykus borealis is from the Horseshoe Canyon formation. It should be labeled Alvarezsauridae indet.

I do not know for certain this is an Alvarezsaurid claw but it looks like one in my opinion.

P.S. Maybe you should type the info directly on here instead of the screenshot. I recognize what site this is from and that's not allowed I think.

Forgot the claw you are asking about is indeed a " cf Albertonykus borealis " but something is going on in the proximal end but cannot tell from photos provided they are two small to see

I've attached some better quality pictures. I cannot comment on this particular claw, but the vendor is well respected and I have always had good experiences with him.

It's definitely a hand claw of " cf Albertonykus borealis "  back end appears to be weathered.   The tip area does not look proper, looks restored, they typically don't take that shape, its pointed and the blood groove should come to the very tip.  Compare against the ones in my Alvarezsaurid post.   Overall preservation is not the best.

I am sorry to say but the preservation on this claw is not good and there are suspect areas that look restored like the tip and in other places. I think you may be able to find nicer ones in the future.
