ID required please

I found these two embedded in the same bit of shale on the yorkshire coastline near Kettleness. Im a complete beginner so sorry if they are just rocks. they are both a similar size, 6cm by 4cm (LxW)

They look like concretions, but some of the concretions from there have ammonites in them (I think).

Wait for some local to there to reply.

I agree with @ynot. The photos are bit small but they do seem to be concretions with no obvious fossils. Plenty from there do have fossils in them but plenty don't! Sometimes they're worth cracking again because fossils aren't always in the middle...

Concretions; another word I had not heard of until today. Its been a very informative day, and whilst I have found lots of rocks, each one has taught me something. Thanks again @TqB
