Chinese Cambrian Hyoliths

Recommended Posts

I just received these small Cambrian hyoliths from China. The seller was unable to provide any specific ID, and does not know what formation they come from. All he knew was that they come from near Woniu Mountain, Linyi City, Shandong Province. They are about a quarter inch long each.

Any thoughts?

Maybe from the Meishucunian of China?  About  542 to about 516 mya. @piranha can possibly help with more specific information. Species will be very hard to identify. I know Hyoliths are very wide spread, from a geographic standpoint.
