Amazing coprolites! Those are enough to make any day out in the field a great success!

I'd love to see some close-up pics of the inclusions in the coprolites if you ever have a chance. Any idea what critter made those?

Great variety of NSR finds, thanks for sharing.  More rain out there today, should be good hunting.

Something tells me as a kid, if you came running up to your mother in the kitchen and showed her a handful of poop saying " Mom, look what I found!", she wouldn't be real thrilled or proud of you no matter how old it is.

@JarrodB are you sure that's fossilized? Looks to me that somebody couldn't  hold it and left the toilet paper back at home:P

Thanks. The one full of bones is my favorite. It's literally loaded with fish verts, bones and fins.

Check out this coprolite I found earlier this year.  I always pick it up and I always look at it under the magnifier when I get home.

That's crazy! Super cool find, I can imagine it would be super rare to find a jaw that intact in a coprolite. Do you think it's from a shark, a mosasaur or other?

The coprolite?  My guess would be mosasaur, but I'm no coprolite expert.

Oh yeah I meant the coprolite. I bet @GeschWhat could shed some light on the identity.
