JarrodB
I had a fun hike at the North Sulphur River Texas yesterday. I figured it would be picked over but I found a pretty remote spot with my 4x4. The one sawfish tooth I found in a small creek a few days before. Everything else is from yesterday. It was a great day for Cretaceous coprolite (Poo). @GeschWhat The one coprolite is full of fish verts, bones and fins.

sharkdoctor
I'd love to see some close-up pics of the inclusions in the coprolites if you ever have a chance. Any idea what critter made those?

caldigger
Something tells me as a kid, if you came running up to your mother in the kitchen and showed her a handful of poop saying " Mom, look what I found!", she wouldn't be real thrilled or proud of you no matter how old it is. Darktooth
@JarrodB are you sure that's fossilized? Looks to me that somebody couldn't hold it and left the toilet paper back at home I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

fossiladdict
Check out this coprolite I found earlier this year. I always pick it up and I always look at it under the magnifier when I get home. 2 Fossils are simply one of the coolest things on earth--discovering them is just marvelous! Do you think it's from a shark, a mosasaur or other?

My guess would be mosasaur, but I'm no coprolite expert. Fossils are simply one of the coolest things on earth--discovering them is just marvelous! Makes you all giddy inside!
