I was actually referring to my wife and the prospect of ME being able to get to Morocco someday to hunt trilo's....unfortunately never going to happen

She loves fossils and is learning quite a lot.

No problem, your wife can hang out with mine at some tropical beach drinking pina coladas in the sun and we'll sneak off to Morrocco for trilos

I learned to pick up an item, set it back down and start walking.  The proprietor would pick up the item and chase me, and as we walked the price came down, lol.  I absolutely hate haggling.  It was a relief to come across a Coptic shop where prices were generally marked firm and I didn't have to haggle (of course, as a result, I may have paid more. Who knows).

Haggling is one of my favourite pastimes in the whole world! 

Fixed prices, both in Morocco and in Egypt don't mean that at all. 

It just puts some people at ease. Usually, you can still haggle the same as the non-priced shops. 

I love it.

Reminds me of my Mom, she would tell us to pick out what we wanted and she would haggle the price down as her entertainment. I've seen her haggle in at least three languages

Here I haggle in Darija (Moroccan Arabic), French and Berber. 

In Egypt I use more Classical Arabic and English. 

I have also haggled in Spanish and Thai, it's fun in any language.
