Found this amongst some rocks and Agatized Coral at Dunedin Causeway in FL. Can anyone confirm that it's actually a fossil? And not just a modern cement mixer or something?!

Pretty sure it is a fossil! Thanks IMG_20190314_180822.jpg

The matrix looks like the familiar Florida limestone karst.
Fossil gets my vote.

Woohoo! Thought so. It's cool looking, usually I just see the rock with the shell imprint. This is both sides of the scallop. Cool!

Yep that is a cool fossil find. I agree with the others...especially with both valves being present. Not sure what kind of pecten it is..maybe Argopecten but maybe Mike can say with these limited view...

Nice find.

Definitely a Pecten and a fossil.  I really like it when I am finding both shells and shark teeth in the same location.

It will take MikeR to identify the specific shell... Jack
