Linda Ann
This is my first time here and I was hoping for some help identifying these fossils. My daughter and I found these in Big Brook, NJ in February 2019.
Carl
Welcome to the Forum! Your photos are very dark (shooting in sunlight is best) but I think I am only seeing frustrating Big Brook concretions here - not fossils. Sorry.
Fossildude19
I lightened your photos: I have to agree with Carl. These look like concretions. Unfortunately, You are not alone: those concretions have fooled many people over the years! Keep looking, though. erose
#2 is a small fish head....NO not really... But wonderfully suggestive if you squint your eyes a bit...
Linda Ann
Thank you for helping me. Although I'm disappointed I will not give up, it is to much fun. This will give me some help. Thank you Fossildude19 for lightening up the pictures. I will do outside pictures next time and add a ruler.
