Hi!

I recently aqcuired quite a lot of "microfossils" to kick off my Triassic collection, as I personally find it one of the most interesting time periods and while I am aware possibly not all of them are ID'd correctly I just wanted to get some nice fossils from this time period regardless of their ID's.
All the fossils I acquired are from the Bull Canyon Formation, Dockum Group, San Miguel County, New Mexico, USA (Norian age)
But I myself am not very knowledgeable yet in this material as I just started my collection but I am aware that some if not most of the ID's on these fossils given by the seller might be wrong as everything I read about the Bull Canyon formation says that the formation isn't that well discribed yet.

I tried to make the photo's as good as I could, but it wasn't always easy given their extremely small size, so I hope the quality is good enough to work with.

So I am kinda hoping is someone here on the forum would like to give it a try to see if he/she could confirm or disprove given ID's. :)

Thank you in advance!

The first set of 2 teeth were listed as the Phytosaur "Pseudopalatus" teeth which after doing a bit of research is considered a junior synonym for "Machaeroprosopus"

The next collection of 3 teeth were listed as the Pseudosuchian "Revueltosaurus"

The next tooth was listed as a "Theropod indet" tooth, and I know there are at least 2 species of theropod present at Bull Canyon, a Coelophysid called Gojirasaurus and a herrerasaurid called Chindesaurus.
But I am not even sure whether this tooth is dinosaurian or not.

Thank you for the paper!
It was a very informative read on the species. :)
But unfortunately there weren't any closeup pictures of the teeth and their shape and serrations in it.

Although I believe this tooth might a correctly ID'd as "Theropod indet"
Been comparing it with the Bull Canyon Theropod teeth from this topic and I think it might be a match!
It's laterally compressed, the serration density is +9 serrations /mm

Then regarding the Lungfish teeth, been comparing them to other fossils and modern lungfish teeth and I do believe they match with what I know to be a lungfish tooth, especially the middle tooth.
Also the sphenodont tooth looks like it might be correctly ID'd as it closely resembles the teeth of living tuatara's. :)

Here is an illustration from one of the papers in my post that might help with your top teeth.  Unfortunately there are no good papers that describe teeth and thats what everyone wants and part of that is just lack of specimens.  I have a concern with a number of IDs with that seller and would suggest trying to ask him to demonstrate where he obtained his identifications.  I am not sure about the tooth labeled theropod indet the shape of the crown just does not look right but?

Thank you very much, this is indeed very helpfull!
These images are very helpfull to put beside the teeth I have.
yeah regarding the seller, I am aware that his ID's on Triassic material are not always reliable, that in combination with the fact that indeed so little is discribed about Bull Canyon is why I started this topic. :)
I will try to send him a message regarding how he ID'd these teeth and what he used as reference.
As always, thank you very much for your input! :)
