Tooth marks on Dino bone?

Vacationgirl

Recommended Posts

I found this piece of dinosaur bone last summer while I was surface collecting in the Horseshoe Canyon area near Drumheller, Alberta.  It wasn’t until I was home and cleaned the piece that I noticed what looks like tooth marks on the bone.

Is it tooth marks on the bone?  I know this is stretch but any idea what type of bone this may be (rib, leg, etc.)?

Thanks for looking at this.

Agree the marks on the one side look like predation.  The bone is from a herbivore possible limb bone.
