Colossalfossils15
Hello! I was sifting for shark teeth this past weekend at Sarasota beach in Florida and came across this thing. It's 3/4 of an inch long and 1/4 inch wide. I was researching fossils found in Florida and it looks a bit like an alligator tooth, but I'm not sure. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thank you! Fossildude19
Awfully flat for a gator or croc tooth. I get more of a fish vibe from this, but the wear on it is not conducive to exact ID. sixgill pete
Very possibly barracuda. Hard to be 100 percent positive as it is extremely worn. Darktooth
Aren't barracuda teeth even more flat than this? The ones that I have collected were. I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

Colossalfossils15
Awesome! Yes, it is worn down, but I still thought it was cool to find, other than the usual shark tooth. Thank you all
