Found around vegas

Found a few enteresting things around Vegas lately

No this is not a coral. This is a rock.

It's interesting though... There is no such thing as 'just a rock' - What kind of rock? How did it form? We may never know, but I'm curious. The matrix looks like limestone.

I just said "rock". I didn't depreciate it with a "just". Of course one could go into more detail. Take a guess.

It looks like chert in limestone. Any idea regarding the name or age of the formation the rock is from? Where there is limestone there might be fossils.

I must have misread that.

Instead of guessing I'd prefer someone to come along and tell us what it is, if anyone recognizes it (like DPS).

I think thalassanoides should be on the table until ruled out.

I'm not seeing any fossil here, personally. 

Limestone with chert looks like a good possibility.

@DPS Ammonite and @Fossildude19 are right...this is definitely weathered limestone with chert. Very cool

I'm with Rockwood. Looks like a burrow structure to me.
