Possible tooth-unknown species

Good afternoon, on a recent trip to Onslow Beach located in Jacksonville, NC I found several interesting items. I will list each separately.  I have researched each item and will provide my thoughts on identification. Please feel free to correct me and or provide greater guidance as I am a true beginner.

My third item- I believe this item is a small tooth.  The shape  appears correct however, I have not seen one that looks like this specimen coming from this location. The specimen is very shiny- even when dry as seen in the attached photos. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Very possibly an extremely water worn shark tooth. Unidentifiable.

Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt

Them red clay piles are heaven on earth
I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt

Yep. Half of an extremely worn shark tooth. The best guess possible if you could even consider making one would be one of the small makos. In cove point beach near me, some of them show up like that but the tooth itself is complete. We also find frags just like that.

FossilsAnnonymous, thank you for the reply. Wow, mako was not on my radar. I will research to see if I can find a match. Regardless of what it is, I just love the color! Most of our fossils are black so this one is a real treat! Thanks again for the education!

There is no way you can make any attempt at an ID on this. Calling this a mako would be like calling your dog a cat. It is to worn and broken.
