Tidgy's Dad
It look's real to me. Morrocan Flexicalymene ouzregui, I think. Too common to fake, but they do glue bits together sometimes to make a whole one. 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

gigantoraptor
It's a real trilobite. But next to Flexicalymene ouzregui I also see Colpocoryphe sp. as a possibility. It's hard to see the difference. Can we see the pygidium? More specific the pygidial flanks. If they are smooth they are Colpocoryphe sp. If they are not smooth they are Flexicalymene ouzregui. First picture shows Colpocoryphe sp. ,second is Flexicalymene ouzregui.

Thank you for the answer and welcome! The rear is ribbed (view photo). Any suggestions on the best way to protect it? Im headed stateside on Monday. Thank you in advance! gigantoraptor
It's Flexicalymene ouzregui then. It's one of the most (if not the most) common trilobites of Morocco. They are usually very cheap, but I get the impression yours is beter quality than the average so might be a bit more. We don't do appraisals here. Very common, but that's a pretty nice one. As has been said we don't give valuations here. Have a look at some fossil suppliers or the auction sites if you want an idea of price. Life's Good! RJB
I cant give you a 'whats its worth', but I can tell you that I used to buy these by the 100 per box at 50 cents each. I used to be a fossil dealer which is why I bought so many at one time. RB
vanguard101
I see. Thanks for the input everyone. It’s amazing a piece of history could be had for so little! Definitely worth the Jackson I paid for it.
