Eocene seed pod?

Recommended Posts

will stevenson

I recently found this on the foreshore of warden point, an Eocene, London clay deposit on the isle of sheppey, it has a woody internal structure that the pics don’t really show and it is kind of symmetrical, is it a seed pod, thanks:ighappy::)

Not a seed pod.

Looks like a marled rock, possibly metamorphic.

Sorry not a seed pod . You can find a lot of seeds there but large pods are more flat shaped  like Nipa palm fruit. I love this location. This looks non biological to me. :(
