My 2 new additions Ornithocheiridae indet. from KemKem

Wow two beauties  . I read the family Ornithocheiridae has had a controversial and very confusing taxonomic history. Thanks for adding to this thread. Cheers Bobby

Thanks! I think I have purchased around 20 Apatorhamphus jaw fragments since the beginning of the year, so I thought I would show one of them on this thread.

Rocket, thank you for the paper . I believe I have seen it before. the pictured specimen is closer to the size of Sinopterus dongi, but to me the skull very much resembles Sinopterus atavismus .

Just a tooth but from rare location. Unlike the classic kem kem teeth, we don't see every day teeth from the Dekkar formation of this group. 1.50 inch long

Both fantastic additions to your collections and to this thread. Thank you. Bobby

This is a Pterosaur bone we found a few days ago in NW Queensland,  Australia. It is not in the most amazing shape but looks like a ulnar bone. This has been donated to the local museum who have confirmed it as Ptersoaur and are going to do some more prep work on it. Pretty happy to find our 3rd confirmed Ptersoaur bone which are very rare in Australia.

thank you for adding to my thread. Very nice find and generous of you to donate to to your local museum.  I not sure but does the TFF give you a badge of honour for donating to science?

cheers Bobby
