Birdman
Here is one of my latest finds, a very big Lepidotes! I think my heart missed a beat when I first spotted this and turned it over as it was lying on its back! It is a rare three dimensional fish fossil. It's nice to have the pectoral fin preserved. I prepped some of the front teeth out, and they are very large. Still a lot of prep work left to do on this one.
Manticocerasman
That’s an incredible fossil. What is the size of it? growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional.

Ramo
Very cool. Can you take a picture with something for scale. I can't tell if that thing is 3 inches long, or 3 feet!! Plantguy
Oohh my...those are stunning... My mind immediately wonders, so what else kind of stuff is/was being preserved in that crazy layer of sediment...must have been pretty nasty to stave off predation and disruption.. Thanks for the wonderful shots and prep! Regards, Chris
