Keichousaurus with Jellyfish?

On this plate is a Keichousaurus and an unknown fossil.  You can see there is something at the left hand corner, does it look like a jellyfish?

Very interesting. A bit of prepping would probably help.

In the case of a soft-bodied specimen like a jelly, I believe that any attempt at prepping would decrease the level of detail because there is no structured boundary between the fossil and the matrix that covers it. In other words, removing the "overburden" will probably make the fossil, if indeed it is a fossil, disappear.

 

P.S. -- Yes, it does look very much like a jelly.
