Any ideas?

I was out metal detecting and found this little rock. I'm sure its probably not a fossil, but what a perfect circle! Anyone happen to know what caused this? Its the size of a penny.

Yes, a crinoid columnal, or stem segment like one of the ones  below was fossilized there but then eroded away leaving this mold behind.

That little nice one looks like a crinoid stem remnant. We are looking at a crinoid columnal facet or an imprint of one, or the printed infill sediment between two columnals, in my thinking.

Hey WOW! I had no idea it was actually a imprint or fossil. I just knew it was weird to find a rock with a perfect circle. Thank you all for your wisdom!!
