Ordovician fossils from Adams Co., OH

Recommended Posts

almach

Back in May 2017, I brought back some nice fossil plates from Ohio, I believe Ordovician in age.

First photo is plate 1.

Next photo (of plate 1) shows a close-up of parts of the trilobite Isotelus, next photo - a nautiloid (unknown species), next photo shows valves of the brachiopod Strophomera, along with many bryozoan fossils.

Next photo is a close-up of crinoids on plate 3. (Not much on plate 2). And last photo is of quite a few crinoids on plate 4.

I believe that this is an Isotelus genal spine and not a nautiloid.

Thanks for the info.  All the fossils on plate 1 were identified by the Cincinnati Dry Dredgers, so I went with what they told me.
