fifbrindacier
Thank you all for your comments. I do a lot of exchanges and last year, with my club we went fossil hunting once a month. Also, during my holidays, we go to places were we can find fossils, mostly on the coast so we also have the ocean. The coasts of Pyrénées Atlantiques, but mostly of Charentes Maritimes and Vendée are fossiliferous. And we also go near Montpellier in the Montagne Noire were i found trilos for the first time last year (so, now that i know better the sites, that would be easier to find ones). We go in a camping on the borders of the lake Salagou. The Montagne Noire begins around Cabrières, at a few kilometers, the permian of Lodève and of the Bosc are at a few kilometers and for Graissessac and Saint Chinian you have to drive for about one hour. Nearby there are also sites with more recent fossils. I particularly love the landscape of the Salagou lake. 3 "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." Sjfriend
@fifbrindacier sounds like you live a great fossil life. I have nice leaf place within 18 miles but next closest is over 200 miles. For older fossils it is even farther and requires major off road travel.... like airplanes or hard core off road vehicles. There will be rivers and mud bogs to cross!

fifbrindacier
When she visited my collection yesterday, Sara saw a fossilized track. Today she told me she thought it was a Grallator's because she had yet seen ones. As she is a curious little Ceratopsian she asked me where It comes from. I answered her it was given to me by a friend who found it, when it was permitted, here, 5 "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." fifbrindacier
I must thank little Sara and her new friends because I worked last night and they let me sleep. I don't know how they occupied their day. I think they have spoken a lot each other. Of their passions, what they have seen and heard, what they like to do or how warm an secure life was when they were little sprouts in their mother's womb or inside their eggs. I also work this night and the night after. I hope that won't be too long for them. 4 "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." fifbrindacier
Hi, that afternoon, when i woke up, i discovered photos of the little group of friends on my computer. They told me, please, show them on Sara's post. Show the members of The fossil forum we had fun here. They had met and decided to play Backgammon. And they played all day long. So, here they are. They apologize for the reflection, they couldn't avoid it. I saw the losers had folded 5 "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." fifbrindacier
Hi, today was a busy day. Firstly, a colleague of mine came to help me fixing my problem of electric heater. Sara and company proposed him their help. He thanked them and said he didn't need their help. So, they just sat and looked at him working. 3 "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." fifbrindacier
Afterwards they helped me labeling the fossils I've just received and packing the parcel I'll send to @Spongy Joe. 9 2 "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." Yes, those are sponges and the first part of the article he helped me to write upon the poriferae. fifbrindacier
This morning I showed Sara some magazines, books and objects from my jumble that stimulated her fertile imagination. She travelled physically and in time from the times of fossils Through Egypt to Maghreb and then, from my bric-à-brac, She became a mariner who crossed seas and oceans. 6 "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux."
