Is this a petrified egg??

Welcome to the Forum. :) 

 

Unfortunately, the picture is blurry, and there is no scale included. :( 

The background is also very busy. 

 

Quality pictures and information on where the item was found are key in determining the identification of fossils.


That said, I do not see any eggshell texture. 

My vote on this given the pictures provided is that this is a river worn chert nodule/cobble.

And You can find the polished "egg" rocks in all types of rock, many sizes and by the 1.000s at most gem and mineral shows.
