Found Giant Oyster?

Hi, 

 

I found this giant oyster in the Mexican Golf. It weights around 13kgs. 

 

I found this article about something similar, where they did a MRI on the oyster.

@Kane Thats okay. Im more interested in knowing if this has any value, I may be mistakenly over-rating the piece thinking it would miraculously have a pearl inside worth thousands .

I mean is it even a fossilized oyster? does it have any connection to the articles I posted? is it safe to say is all rock solid inside, and there is nothing to explore further? 

 

I really don't know.. I searched the term u guys suggested but the pictures in google images don't look any similar. Any other information you might suggest would be appreciated.

No oyster. No pearl. Very nice concretion. The nearest natural history museum would probably like to have it in their collection. It isn't worth trying to sell. They are common.

Definitely a septarian nodule/concretion.

Not worth much, monetarily speaking.
