New Florida beach find, shark tooth??

Found at a beach in Florida today. I'm pretty good with teeth. Have never found one this thick and fat. Even the side is flat with enamel. Any clue?
Thanks!

Hard to see from the pics, could be a fragment of a more conical tooth like crocodile or gator maybe?

I believe that it is a sharktooth fragment but it is so worn that it is nearly impossible to ID for sure as to species.

I think it's too thick to be shark tooth and agree it's probably a tumbled fragment of a crocodile tooth.

I've found so many different species of shark teeth. Never seen one that's flat on the side with enamel. I'm stumped... :zzzzscratchchin:

I dont think it is a tooth. At least not shark. However. We need good clear in focus pictures. Please read some of the pinned topics on how to get your items identified.

It is 100% a worn down shark tooth. In the first pic you can see a carina facing you; the lingual side is toward the top and the labial toward the bottom. The root is at left.

I agree, in certain angles it looked exactly like a tooth, and in others I wasn't so sure it what it was. More photos could give a better ID.

The more I look at this the more I am convinced it is not a shark tooth. Not even a worn out fragment. We can discuss the all day, but until the OP provides us with clear, close up in focus pictures from all angles we are just guessing.
