Identify this fossil, please

Found this collection recently near Morris Lighthouse. Had a very knowledgeable person with me but he couldn’t identify this one. Any help?

Scot, can you show us a few more pictures of this item ( different angles ) by itself with a ruler beside it for scale?

I believe it is a worn Squalodon molar.  Complete example below

Hi there ..  more than likely a toothed whale or specifically a delphinid tooth. Squalodon are not described from that area.

Sand dollar is recent Mellita quinquiesperforata. I have some of them in my collection from SC (Myrtle Beach).
