Lightweight fossil from Lee Creek sediments

I found this oddly-shaped "fossil" in the bucket of Lee Creek sediments I mentioned in an earlier post. This fossil was notably very pale in color, lightweight, and porous.

sponge or byozoan.

 

Can't recall which formation in the mine produces these... Plio-Pleistocene James City Fm perhaps?

@hemipristis is correct with bryozoan. At least that is what it appears to be with the pictures provided. These are very common in the spoil piles.
