monkey puzzle ship worms

The tag on the box that I picked this out of (silver pick) identified it as, you guessed it, petrified monkeypuzzle wood with shipworm borings.

The ID seems right but it's such a beautiful piece I wondered if anyone has any further thoughts.

I believe these are burrows of clams, this kind of material is sometimes called peanut wood.
