Erin
Hello, I was shell hunting today on Holden Beach and found, what I believe, is a fossil. It appears to be some type of sea biscuit(based on photos I’ve found online). It is very hard and filled with some type of compacted sediment. Any ideas what it might be and how old it is? Mark Kmiecik
Absolutely gorgeous echinoid. Congratulations. If that's your first fossil find, you're out of the gate like a champ! Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
Ludwigia
Looks like it's in flint preservation. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
