Mark Kmiecik
I have no idea how big/small it is. The cracks' general shape does suggest clay. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
Silsbyge
It's quite small maybe an inch and a half by and inch. And very light. Also the colour is more creamy than it appears in the picture Edited May 18, 2019 by Silsbyge

Also the colour is more creamy than it appears in the picture I see no grain at all when I enlarge the photos you've provided, which leads me to think that it may be a man-made substance that is not rock. It's most definitely not a fossil. How hard is it? Can you scratch it with a butter knife? To be honest, it looks like a bit of dried up chewing gum. Mark. ynot
I could see it as a piece of dried paint dripping. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." See episode of Gilligan's Island. Plastic explosives will just slowly burn. Not good to inhale the fumes though. You can even shoot the stuff without consequence. However, if you lit it on fire & then hit it with a hammer or shot it it might explode (or so I've been told). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- John I had a friend once, but the wheels fell off.
