Kevofossilhntr
Found this interesting fossil over the weekend, can’t identify the pattern on it. Any thoughts?

TqB
Blowing it up, you can see coral structure - Favosites maybe, or Pleurodictyum. 1 Tarquin
erose
Favosites does show up as worn pieces in the glacial drift. And if that is a piece of chert then maybe that is what you have. But all the stuff I found or saw over the years from there was a much lighter colored limestone or dolomite.
The Jersey Devil
It’s definitely Favosites. Probably been in the stream for a while. “You must take your opponent into a deep dark forest where 2+2=5, and the path leading out is only wide enough for one.” ― Mikhail Tal
