"ironstone" concretion.  geologic, not fossil, sorry.  But a nifty display piece nevertheless less

There are a lot of volcanic rock in Washington.

This does have some resemblance to a thunderegg. Can You scratch it with a knife?

Can You be a little more specific on the location?
