At first I didn't give much attention to it, but today i noticed the three small markings on the center of the piece. My question is: Would that be the reminiscent of the siphunculus of a Nautiloid specimen? Piece is from Madagascar. Those are the sliced-through remains of the siphuncle which runs through the middle of the critter. Maybe you can see more in the other half if you have it. 3 Greetings from the Lake of Constance.
