fireagateJim
I've seen a lot of opalized fossils but none exactly like this so I was wondering if anybody could help me pinpoint exactly what it is and if it holds any value? The specimen is roughly 25 mm, semi translucent and has a fair amount of color.
Aurelius
It does look like a gastropod, but the pictures aren't really clear enough for me to be confident. Certainly, opalised fossils have value, but note that we're not allowed to appraise value here.
Fossildude19
I am not seeing any gastropod morphology in this item. I would think this isn't a fossil. Pretty opal, though.
