(4) C. Hastalis - Cooper River SC - for Trade

Brett Breakin' Rocks

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

Summer is here and the trades must begin ! ... If anyone is looking for some C. hastalis from the Cooper River, SC here they are.  These were found diving (not by me I'm not crazy ... ok, not THAT crazy)

I'm looking for something with a bit more color, complete (as complete as these examples ?) and any size really .. lightning, scorched, red, green, blue .. what have you.  If you have seen my images in the past you will get my drift. I've attached a few below ....

4 for 1 .. 1 for 4 .. 4 for 4 ... I'm easy.

They are all pushing 1.5-1.75 in

Cheers,

Brett

Hey Doren,

Ha, you are not the first to ask.  That is a C. auriculatus from NC .  I do have a nice Angustidens .. a purchase .. that I can let go of... however.  It has a little nick at the tip but the color is great. It was found in Summerville, SC proper on a creek walk. Oligocene, Chandler Bridge fm.

Almost every one I've seen for sale has a "Tip Chip".  You are wanting colored teeth, right?

Let me see if I have something to interest you.

Another trade with @will stevenson resulted in this little gem of a hemipristis tooth from helvetian.
