Brynn
My first assumption is that they are petrified tree branches, but I wanted to see if there were any other answers.

abyssunder
It's a coral, I agree, possibly solitary rugose coral. 2 " We are not separate and independent entities, but like links in a chain, and we could not by any means be what we are without those who went before us and showed us the way. Mark Kmiecik
Definitely coral. Fossilized wood looks much different. Nice find. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

FossilNerd
I agree with most here. First specimen looks to be rugose coral. Second specimen looks like a crinoid stem imprint. There also appears to be a possible impression of a shell next to the crinoid. And it looks like there's something to the right of the crinoid. I'm almost willing to bet there's more on the back side too. Mark.
