Thank you...  interesting but frustrating for me as well.  Is there a “distinguishing feature” that I may not have captured in the photos?  Are there any physical aspects that could potentially lead to a “category” to begin a search?

If it smells like burnt hair when you put a lighter to it you can say it's a modern bone as opposed to being a fossil.
