I'm very new to fossil collecting and would like to check if these rocks are fossils. My apartment was built in the 80s and is currently undergoing massive construction due to the rapidly deteriorating structure of the building. I was given permission by strata to collect a few rocks from the discard pile and I came up with these.

It is preferred to post pictures directly to the forum. That being said, I’m not seeing fossils in these rocks.

Any fossils would be presented as cross sections on rocks worn like this. I'd carefully (eye protection) give them a wack and see what's inside.

Look like water-worn conglomerates to me.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
