Sarahelizabeth
I found this odd looking tooth while walking on the beach in Corolla, NC. I’ve researched a bit online but can’t find examples of teeth that look like this. Any help would be appreciated!

daves64
I think that's part of a fish skull. 3 Accomplishing the impossible means only that the boss will add it to your regular duties.
ClearLake
Welcome to the forum! Nice find you have there, it’s always fun to see what washes up. A tooth would usually have a shiny enamel coating over a significant portion of it. I believe @daves64 has hit the nail on the head with the ID.

Sarahelizabeth
Thank you!!!! That’s really interesting, I was sure it was just a badly damaged tooth. I appreciate your help!
sixgill pete
I agree it is likely a sea Robin skull plate. I will also add that it looks modern and not fossil. 1 Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt behind the trailer, my desert Them red clay piles are heaven on earth I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt Patterson Hood; Drive-By Truckers May 2016 May 2012 Aug 2013, May 2016, Apr 2020 Oct 2022
