Florida vertebra?

Found on beach and two frontal holes.  Help with ID appreciated.

Man I'm not sure...thats cool. Does look like a hyperostotic fish bone/vertebra maybe but was wondering if it could also be some sloth dermal fragment/element...the beach has a way of polishing things but that symmetry seems very suggestive..Wait for others eyes/feedback!
